MEDICAL LAKE, Wash., May 28 (UPI) -- Police say they arrested a Washington man for allegedly pepper-spraying a family, including a child, in a dispute involving a 2-foot area for a tricycle.

Anthony Campbell, father of the 3-year-old girl, alleges Andrew Evans, the upstairs neighbor in his Medical Lake, Wash., building objected when Campbell tried to share a 2-foot plot of land in front of the structure Evans had previously used to grow roses and vegetables, KXLY-TV, Spokane, reported.

What a depressing story. Always sad to read about neighbors attacking each other, but to be honest, I don't know what good comes of sharing stories like this. There are people in this world who are real jerks, I guess that's always been true and always will be true.

This goes to show that you just never know who you are really dealing with.

There are so many sprays and other self-defense weapons available to the public that you can't imagine what some people are packing.

I spend every day totally amazed at what people get mad at. I think many people are so stressed out until they have become walking powder kegs waiting to blow at any moment. It's a sad thing.

I'd hate to see what he would have done if some one had taken a full size parking place that was his favorite.

I love to be giving and kind to others, especially my neighbors. It angers me that people treat each other this way over things that are meaningless.
