No, I'm just curious what your source is. You said "druid" means "seeker of knowledge." Where'd you learn that? I'm not trying to prove you wrong. I'm trying to find out where you got your facts, since you are the only person I've heard make that claim.
And why are you so adamant about spelling Celt with a K? What's the difference between the accepted "Celtic" and your spelling of "Keltic"? Again, just curious.
Its derivation is rather to be sought in the Celtic language. The Gaelic word Druiah signifies a holy or wise man; in a bad sense, a magician; and this we may readily trace to the Aryan druh, applied to the spirit of night or darkness, whence we have the Zend dru, a magician.
I searched and found this on the net. I, too, had come across this 'other' definition of the word.
Also, in my public high school, Kelt pronounced with the hard 'k' was considered just as acceptable as Celt with the soft 'c'.
Actually, not Christian doctrine; any non-Abrahamic doctrine.
Paganism is any faith that does not have to do with the God of Abraham.
I think some Christian fundamentalists teach that the 'saved' have found the true religion and everyone else is pagan. It was that way when, as a child, my parents forced me to go to such a church. It was, sadly, used as a somewhat pejorative term.
I remember being confused as to why prophets could perform miracles but when other people did it, it was not a good thing. Didn't all things come from God?
There are obviously several definitions of paganism.

I guess. One of the things certain strains of Abraham-ism seem to grant is the ability to redefine words at will.
