A funny thing happenned at a "Oneness Blessing" meditation (Buddhist, body)

Hi everyone. It was suggested that I repost this from the buddhist section.
I have been going through an awakening for about 6 months.
As part of my healing/ growth- I started some really basic meditation about 2 months ago.
I had gone to a couple of small group meditations.
One was this "oneness blessing"- I guess its something called a diksha.
So our meditation was to create a growing golden light of love.
There were two blessing givers who were blessing each of us several times.
I'm not a very good meditator- but at one point , as the blesser approached me, I included them in my minds golden light.
I seemed to have left my body and merged/ melded/ dissolved into the other person.
It was just a few seconds- it was very intimate, but I felt awkward and embarrassed and quickly returned to my body.
I should probably add- when I was in the other person- i was like a group of golden bubbles flowing through them.

I am sane, sober and have not had an experience like this before. Just wondered if anyone has heard of or had any similar experiences. Thanks very much- Mark

What an experience.
I've not had anything like that, but have other ethereal experiences. Am, wow, what was that, moment.

Hi OKM- at the end of the get together- my tongue got ahead of my filter. I described it as a spiritual orgasm. The ironic thing about this and my awakening stuff- I would have been the person to mock anyone from describing the experiences i've had. I would imagine you've run into the " what are they talking about" wall when trying to share some of your experiences too. On the plus side- my rear view mirror seems to be working well Take care-m
