If I had a 10-month old son or daughter I would have absolutely no problem pushing them around in a stroller alone and I would have absolutely no concern about what others thought "it looked like".
I don't think twice about men with strollers. I see fathers with babies and children at the park all the time. It's a healthy, normal activity for fathers.
I can't say I have much thought about it when I see a man pushing a stroller. But I'm not really a stroller-person. If I see him carrying his baby in a sling or other such carrier though, I think it's very sweet and endearing.
I have noticed at times when I'm out pushing my 10 month old around in the stroller that it seems to bring out a certain emotion in some women. It is almost like some women do not like to see a man by himself pushing around a stroller for some reason. Granted, I do live in the south eastern part of the US (Florida).
I have a few theories as to what brings on this phenomena. The first is that these women don't have a husband that would ever push a stroller. The second is that they don't have children and just can't relate. The third is that they just simply think it's wrong for a man to push a stroller and or it's not a man's job to have such an active role in fatherhood.
Picture a lone man with a baby pushing a stroller with the needed diaper bag all parents must have.
Why does the sight of a man pushing a stroller spontaneously arise a strong psychological state in some women?
You have discovered a new way to pick up chicks. And shall write your book on dating..... "pushing the stroller 101 ways to score with hot women while having kids"

Seriously? I always had the exact opposite problem. I couldn't go two hundred yards without some woman stopping me and cooing. And some were pretty damned flirty with me, too. There were a couple of times when a woman would volunteer her name and where she lived. I was halfway expecting her to scribble out a phone number, too.
