I haven't posted in a long time- D has been in college with HS sweethear .she is a freshman and he is a sophomore- they 've had some rocky moments but overall a decent year-she called me late last night upset telling me her story- I told her it wasn't a good idea to go to college with him but we all know how they know everything.... I think they get along MOST of the time and..they were somewhere last night and he said " the first part of spring break will be more fun" - he is going with friends and she is going later in the week with a few mutual girlfriends etc...boys and girls who are all friends... anyway it upset her alot - I've always told her they were together more than they needed to be and that they needed a break- she said"you were right mom" (about going to the same school as him)I feel so sorry for her .. and it may not last ... she is at a very good LAC school and I really hope she will stay- I've told her that she needs to find some "new" friends and just move on-she said 'I know"- it is way too much $$ to transfer- any suggestiosn if you 've had this happen before?

I really think it was just one of those moments where he ticked her off but I hope its enough for her to realize that he is not the one for her....

I think you are right on SOME parts.
Yes, they sound like they spend a lot of time together but maybe her getting friends and spending less time with him and more time with friends will help her and his relationship out.

It won't last past this year most likely. What you are seeing are probably the cracks of it starting to show is all.
