Visitation and child support are two different things. IF he felt he was being denied visitation because he had no money - then certainly he should have gone back to court.
I have my doubts that anyone in this article is an angel - except the child.
No, I do not know this person. I just read more than one article on this and I have a problem when anyone is demonized in the press - especially in a he said/she said issue like this.
Hmmm...I respect the dad's decision, but I don't know if I totally agree with it. I see his point but I don't know if I could disappoint my child like that especially after they've been through such hell. That said, I'm glad she is able to go after all...4 yrs old is not too young for Disneyland, that's absurd. There are many many rides and attractions for little ones, it's Disneyland! I'm sure she had seen many a disney film during her 2 year chemo treatments. Personally I believe you're never too young or old for that place. But I happen to love Disneyland. At any rate, that's not the point of the story...I'm just glad it worked out for her. I hope the parents can join forces and get along for the sake of their precious daughter who has been given the gift of life.
I'd prolly accept the trip, take the trip, and then write a letter to Make-A-Wish telling them that they should only give these trips out to children who were terminally ill
