I'm in total agreement here:
I love you.
My mom died in '03 and the last words we said to each other were "I love you". She had some rough times at the end, but was lucid for a short while. She knew her time was short and we spoke of it and hugged, kissed and shared our love as a family. She said "I love you both so much" to me and my son and we told her we loved her so much as well. Later that night she went into a semi-coma and never woke up again. I wrote all this down to remember it.
When I die I would hope I would have a voice to utter these same three words to my son.
