Dear parents, if your child owns a Deviantart account. Please be careful of who they follow or what they saw. There is a absolute disgraceful phenomenon of hate art on Deviantart that is still happening since the site got popular. Basically, the site is now filled with hundred and thousands of hate art every single day. This phoemoneom of hate art does not define the site's meaning and needs to stop as soon as possible. Deviantart really needs to update its guidelines.

You can read the site's policies about hate art. If you see it, just report them.

An example is given at the URL in that post. (Everyone hates Caillou), but I am not sure that is so horrible.

I am not sure if what is meant is those who hate art and artists.

DeviantArt is limited to 13 and up. If a 13-year-old can't handle controversial art, especially of the particular sort mentioned by the OP, maybe he or she should not have an account there.

I don't care for that kind of thing, myself, if only because most of it doesn't rise to the high standards that I remember Mad Magazine having in the 1970s.
