I don't know, since I never had kids.

CNN addressed the issue last month in a story that referenced studies about the impact of parental nudity on kids. One, they reported, “found no negative impact on adolescents who regularly saw their parents naked at ages 3 and 6.” Ok, great. But another “found that parental nudity when kids were ages 6 and 11 resulted in more permissive attitudes about sex and increased sexual frequency.” Hmmm.

It's not a big deal when they are very young children but when the children start reaching the age of puberty, it could make things awkward especially if it's the opposite gender (female mother/male son; male father/female daughter). Then you might end up with situations like these.

Parading around the house naked all day is (IMO) a pretty silly thing to do. Scrambling to cover up if you are changing or getting out of the shower and they can see you for a moment is about equally silly.

What do you mean by naked??? Birthday suit or underwear? My dad would walk around in his underwear even when me and my sisters were teenagers. It grossed me out. Even when I told him to cover up, my mom yelled at me for complaining and look the other way

It is. Actually anyone who sits around naked all day obviously has mental issues that I don't want to be around.

Imagine sitting on a couch that had someone else's sweaty nude bits and wet flatulation sprayed all over it all day. No thanks.

Absolutely, no.. Kids shouldn't see their parents naked(of course I refer to be completely naked).

My mom used to walk around naked. Actually, she still does it, I just don't live there anymore. I don't think it warped me in any way.

I go in my room and close the door to change clothes. Sometimes one of my daughters will walk in without knocking and it's no big deal. We share a fitting room when we shop too, most of the time.

My kids see me naked. It's not a big deal at all. We don't often close our doors at home. They even still enjoy taking a bath with me (age 5 and 8, both girls).

Believe it or not for generations it was pretty common to see family members in various states of undress, because there was little privacy in houses. I wonder how something that was fairly normal for the last two hundred thousand years now is regarded as a sign of being "mentally unstable".
