Unless you can share a little about what led to it or what your father might of done, there isn't much to say. For all we know you could be having a spoiled hissy fit because he wouldn't pay for your graduation outfit or a limo, or he spent years beating you up.

Wait, your father "and his family"? So he and your mother are divorced, and he has a separate family? Is this about divorce issues?

You could always skip the graduation ceremony altogether. Are you really up for this? The cap, gown, and all that jazz? Pomp, circumstance, and boring speeches? First of all, I doubt you have the option to invite his whole family, however many people that may entail. You're probably limited in the number of guests you can invite. Look into it. It could be a convenient excuse. "Gee, dad, they said only two guests, and mom and grandma really had their hearts set on it. I hope you're ok with this..."

It's your party. You're The Decider. Invite who you want. Enjoy. And congrats on your graduation!
