My son is turning 3 years old on may 26th! I am so excited because we are getting him a new bed room set. ( bed, dresser and toybox )
Right now he sleeps on an old queen size mattress that takes up all the space in his room.
Earlier I started a thread asking what is a "good enough mattress" for a 3 year old that is not so expensive and I received some good advice.
I found a foam mattress for $50,00 at a mattress store that will work perfect.
I posted a link to the web site, if you want to look at what I bought.
I had everybody in the family chip in to help us pay for it. I hope it will be a success.

It will be great.

This is the one my son had Amazon.com: Little Tikes Race Car Twin Bed: Toys & Games .

He is now 15 and long since outgrown the design, but it still looks good. It is in storage for when he has children. No matter what he got on it (juice, marker, puke) it alkways wiped right off.

Congrats to your little boy!!!

I bet your son is going to love it. It will last him a few good years for sure. My son wanted a jungle themed room. I wasn't able to give it to him, because he had to share a room for a while so the room he shared stayed pretty generic and neutral. Then by the time he had his own room he wanted something else.

Does your son love watching NASCAR? If he doesn't yet, I bet he will once he gets his new bedroom set.

That is really cute. We had (and still have) boring old second hand little tikes toddler beds (think green plastic) but my MIL has a firetruck bed and castle bed at her house, and the kids are going to want to sleep in those til you need a shoehorn to get them in and out. They want her to get a twin sized racecar bed.
