We coordinate our 5 and 2 year olds as well.
They have been teddy bears one year and last year it was an "under the sea" type theme where the little one was an octopus and my 5 year old was an alligator.
Not sure what this year will be...
I get my ideas from my 5 year old usually. I try to figure out what he wants to be and then i coordinate the youngers costume accordingly since they dont have too much of an opinion at 2 and you really can excite them on any idea..
