I wanted to post a video that I encountered, that made me question what parents thought about freak dancing, and if they would be terrified of their sons/daughters partaking in this form of dancing. For those parents that don't know what "freak dancing" is, it is basically dancing while simulating sexual acts. It's basically dry humping to music.

Here is a video of basically what freak dancing is all about:

Before I watched the video, I was thinking that all dancing is sort of sexual.

But that's not dancing in the video. It's not anything like dancing. Just weird.

Would I be terrified if my teens danced like this? No. Terrified isn't the appropriate word.

A fine example of just how low the values of our youth have sunk. I wonder why the OP has posted this same thread in two places, however ... here and in the Politics forum. Passionate subject for him/her, I suppose?

Who cares why the OP posted. We're not terrified.

Not for my kids but I don't let them listen to anything but rock, metal or country music.

That isn't dancing, that's dry humping and in public.

Totally wholesome. Almost no touching at all. But if they don't like that music there's this:

Pretty sure my daughter dabbled in high school, but not to the degree in that video. And the HS eventually put an end to that kind of thing anyway. Terrified? No. I didn't have to see it and she quickly outgrew the idea that it was "cool". No harm done.

Horrific. If I saw my child or any child I knew doing that (minor of course) it would come to an immediate stop and hopefully would not involve me having to be bailed out or arraigned.
