Probably better for the Spring, but I thought I would start this thread to prevent further derailment of this thread http://www.city-data.com/forum/penns...w-hope-pa.html about New Hope PA.

What are your favorite Open air or Farmers or flea markets to go to in Eastern PA? I'm thinking anywhere up and down the Eastern state line and West to say, Harrisburg or thereabouts.

I like this place in Berks county
Renningers Antiques & Farmers Market Kutztown, PA A little bit of everything.

This place in Bucks county
Pennsylvania Rice's Flea Market in Solebury Township -Rice's Flea Market Biggest outdoor market for Antiques and Collectibles, outdoor market for Jewelry, Selling Spaces for General Merchandise in Pennsylvania - Go early. Must pay for parking. Mostly new stuff, not so much a flea market.

also this one - QuakerTown Farmers Market

This place in Delaware County
Booth's Corner Farmers Market -

in Allentown
Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market - Allentown, Pennsylvania - More expensive then what you would expect, but good quality produce and meat.

Collegeville and Upper Merion Township have small Saturday morning markets that are enjoyable and have a variety of goods (including local wineries! ). Collegeville's is in the center of town; the Upper Merion market is in the township park on Valley Forge Road and is open year-round (winter market is every other week: http://uppermerionfarmersmarket.org/ ).

Skippack has a market on Sunday mornings on the grounds of the Extension office on Pa. 113.

I've not been to Phoenixville's Saturday morning market, but have heard good things about it.

Oh, yeah, and don't forget Zern's in Gilbertsville. Some people I know hate the place, but I find it fascinating.

The Gold Nugget is located outside of New Hope, PA, in Lambertville, NJ. It is on 1850 River Rd. (Rt. 29). Their website is http://gnmarket.com/ I hope it is okay to give a web address like that. There are better directions on how to get there than I could ever give. Besides, the site gives photos and other info to whet your appetite. It is a great market, I know, 'cuz' you just may see me selling stuff there sometime!

True, it used to be better before the Internet came along, but not to worry, plenty of treasures for any taste!!! Take it from a flea market addict. I'm hooked. Started at age 11!!

There is another market in Columbus,NJ. It is not that close, but not too bad of a drive from the New Hope area. It is a mix of old and new, and huge!

Flea markets are a year-round addiction for some of us!! So, not a problem to lets us know about more!! OHMYGOD! MORE!? Besides, the one in Lambertville is year-round, anyway. Trust me, I know....

Yes, it is a good thing to start a new thread. We sure could use a thread on flea markets.
