If there is one office that needs to be apolitical it's the AG and she was anything but apolitical. Don't let the prison door hit you in the ass.... Hopefully she will resign as she should of done months ago.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Kane found guilty - CNNPolitics.com

(CNN)Pennsylvania State Attorney General Kathleen Kane has been found guilty of perjury and obstruction, prompting renewed calls for her resignation.

Kane, a Democrat elected in 2012, had denied leaking confidential information about grand jury deliberations to the media and then attempting to cover it up, in an effort to harm her predecessor.

Too bad we cannot say the same at the National level; but that is a subject for our Politics and Controversies forum!

I don't know what to think about this case. When Kane got elected they trotted her out like a toy poodle and the party bosses made her look good by passing her gun crime initiative that was pretty run of the mill but that they praised as ground breaking. Then she let corruption cases go un-prosecuted in Philadelphia and Harrisburg so I wrote her off as a party stooge that was spineless or maybe just incompetent. Then she went up against the old boy network and they totally threw her under the bus, although she was guilty of extremely poor judgment.

For someone who maintained her innocence, she was found guilty rather quickly.

She seems to always have been surrounded by controversy. Hopefully some normalcy will return to the AG's office.
