Hello Again!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I was wondering if someone knows if the property taxes are high or medium, or low in Huntingdon on single family house with a little over an acre of land?

Is everyone happy with what they pay in taxes there? Thanks for any info.
Crazy question I know. Who can be happy with taxes?

Default Huntingdon county taxes

I used to live in the mt union school district, shirley township.
I had a 2.2 acre lot with a home valued at 120,000, last school and property
tax paid was in 2002 for around $850 total. The local income tax was 1%. Move into the Huntingdon School district and you are looking at $1600-$2000 for school and property tax.

I believe them, orby is not far from where I used to live next valley over on SR747. This was a 3 bed 1-1/2 bath rancher on a 2.2acre lot; the only difference is the school district, orby would be Southern Huntingdon instead of Mt. Union, but both districts have low taxes.
