Looking for feedback from people who live, or have lived recently, in the Conrad Weiser SD and more specifically, Wernersville proper.

I'll say first that, I'm a born/raised/resident of Berks and live in Gov Mifflin area so I have basic knowledge of both and my overall impression is positive but like any community, there are pros and cons.

My daughter, 26, is looking to buy her 1st home and has found a nice candidate in Wernersville. It's everything she needs and the price is right. She understands the proximity means a little more driving, she says she's ok with that - mostly because she feels it's a fair trade off to be more removed from the worst of Berks - downtown Reading, which is spilling into the burbs quickly ioo. She works in Brecknock/Mohnton area so she'd commute over the hill thru Gouglersville - 20 mins or so - not bad (unless bad weather).

Her plan, right now , is to live there with her fiance for 5 years or so then potentially rent the house and move up. Obviously she could decide to sell it and move, or stay, or....who knows.

We'd love to hear thoughts, recommendations, experiences from anyone truly "in the know".

Thanks!

If $ allows, why not live in Wilson SD and Lower Heidelberg?

Better school (same drive).
