I am hoping to fulfill my dream of moving to Navarre, FL within the next 2 years and I was wondering what the job outlook would be for me as an RN in home health care, specifically private duty care. Are there plenty of agencies in the area? Do they have enough clients to give you steady full time work? And of course the question that is always asked, what is the pay like in the area? TIA!

While I'm not in that industry, my feeling is that you will have no trouble finding work. Like many Florida beach areas, NW FL is full of retirees with most needing care.

Best of luck!

As far as 2 years from now I don't thinks anyone knows what the economy or the state of healthcare will be. My suggestion is if you want to move do it now. Sacred Heart system is the Hospital system and I would apply with them. Home health pays very low in Florida as CNAs are a dime a dozen and not many agencies allow invasive care at home. (Insurance Issues).
