Hey everyone,

Well i am 21 years old and i lived in navarre from when i was 14-17. I am originally from new york and have lived back in ny for the last 4 years but i just finished school and i am thinking about moving back to florida with a friend for maybe a year or so, just to work and save up some money and then move back to ny eventually. BUT here is my question...

obviously ny is much more diverse than that area in florida i would be moving back to, and since i was younger when i lived there i dont really know how the clubs and stuff are there. I am big into latin music/dancing, so i was wondering do they even have clubs there that play reggaeton and stuff like that?

i am torn because here i have everything i need culture wise, but it is expensive and with the job i have i will be able to save a lot more money in florida and i do miss the beach...but at the same time i cant live without certain music/clubs/types of people. lol

anyway, any opinions on this sort of thing would be goooood
thanks!

I think youre going to have to prioritize whats of utmost importance to you, because coming back here is going to require some compromising ; same if you stay in NY . If its of any huge significance, living all the coast here is going to be alot safer for you. If it were me making the decision based on what youve said, I would make my priority saving money and delay the gratification you get from the Latin Night Clubs --- after youve achieved your monetary goals and get established in a job for which you were educated for, then there will be lots of time to enjoy your favorite pastimes. Having said that, you do know that jobs around here are scarce right ? If finding a job around here is going to be difficult for you, you may want to just stay in NY and share an apartment/house with a couple other gals to keep the cost down...and secure a far better paying job there and save some money. As for beaches, im told there are some around NYC .

Jobs and NoFla don't go hand in hand. You're better off looking for a job in the NY Metro and maybe moving over to NJ to save some money if your NYC rent is too high.
