Hi I'm Kara I'm about 16. I want to know where my father is. I've gone my whole life without seeing him for a day raring from him or seeing a picture of him. My mom and dad got together at a college in pennslyvania and they were very young. My mom got really sick ad has to leave. They broke up right before she left. They had no way to contact each other and a long time after they broke up ae figured out she was pregnant with me. My dad, Craig, figured out she had a baby through mutual friends. But what I don't know is if he knew I was his since my mother never specified but I think that he didn't know. But I heard my mom say he lives somewhere in upstate new York and I have no idea how she would know that since there's no evident contact going on between them. I just want to find him or at least know where he is. This is what I know... His name is Craig and his last name begins in O and it's apparently a hard name to pronounce. I'm sorry but no one ever told me his full last name. He's also blonde and is between 36 and 38 years old. He lives in upstate new York I believe. And went to a college in PA. Please help in any way you can or any advice. I'd appreciate it.

Kara ~ Time and time again, I read similar stories on here and I am amazed by the lack of information that people like you are given by one of their parents. There is always so much missing information and quite frankly, it seems so cruel and selfish of them for not disclosing (that's what I think is usually the case) what would be important to you, even if it is not important to them. I hope you can try to get more info from your mom. You have every right to know who 'fathered' you as anyone else. Likewise for him, if he never knew. Perhaps you'll get the name of the college and then you can try posting that in this thread. Good luck in your search for him.
