I am looking for information about Joseph S Chuderewicz
Born March 7, 1922 and believed to have died on Sept 29. 1999
I am looking for information about this men because he flew in the same aircraft and crew as Joseph V Del Torto.
Joseph V Del Torto didn't survived the crash on Feb 16, 1945 in the Netherlands.
I adopted his grave and taking care of it.
But i am trying to write a story about the whole crew and but i cant find anything about Mr Chuderewicz.
Please if anyone knew him or his relatives, let me know
Thank you.
I already did that , and found out a lot about 3 crewmen , but they couldn't help me with the other one i posted her on this forum.
So i am still looking for Joseph S Chuderewicz , Raymond Anthony Miller and Leroy M McKnight.
Thanks again
I have no idea how far along you've gotten, but did you know if you regater for a free three day trial at ancestry.com, you may be able to access his WWII records, if he was army based. My Dad was in the Air Force, but that was part of the Army until 1947. Which is why he got transferred into the Army Corp of Engineers.
It may give you a little more insight, but it may not, too... just a thought.
But i already did that, but i am not sure if i found everything about him, because i find it very difficult to search there.
But i couldn't find anything about his family.
I did found that he died on Sept 29, 1999

Are you cross posting, or do you know or think Joe C. was from Pittsburgh?
If you KNOW he was from Pittsburgh, your next thing is to find old phone directories to see where he lived. if he owned the house, you can find land records. You can search newspapers for his name. Most of this stuff you will need to be in Pittsburgh for, or have access to a good library.
With a death date you might be able to track down an obit, which can give you loads of info...
Well, now you've given us some information to work with!
I believe this is his house in Gibsonia: Allegheny County Assessment (http://www2.county.allegheny.pa.us/RealEstate/General.asp?CurrBloLot=1664C00076000000&Name=Chude rewicz%20Joseph&SingleResult=True - broken link)
Since he only recently died, his name is still on the real estate assessment records.
If this is his house, you can find his wife via the information on the site.
Type into a google search "Chuderewicz, Gibsonia, pa"
His wife's phone number is listed and comes up in that google search.
I'm sure if you contact her directly (via mail or phone), you'll find all the information you're looking to find.
