I'm looking for anyone who knows about Oscar Carlson, Ernest Carlson and/or Carl Anderson. Oscar and Ernest were brothers and came from Sweden. I don't actually know anything about Carl but I guess he was their friend, Carl was Ernests referent at a draft card in 1942. Oscar married a woman called Maude and they had 4 children and what I know is only one of them still living (her name is Doris and if she is not married her last name is Carlson). I would be so happy to learn more about them! Oscar and Ernest were my great grandmother's cousins.

This is such a big country, what state did they move to or did they spend the most time in - ? Carlson is a pretty common name (and Anderson (or Andersen) even more common). Anyway, that would help (also the years they were born (approximate is better than nothing)).

They lived in Rockford, Illinois and were born in Sweden (at least Oscar and Ernest, Carl I don't know anything about...). Oscar was born in Hok, Sweden, in 1895 and died 1989 according to the obituary. Maude was born in Texas around 1901 and died in 2001. Ernest was born in Hok, Sweden, in 1894 and died 13th October 1944.
It looks like you previously posted in the above forum - it contains the obituaries for Maude, Raymond and Marilyn.

Yes, I'm looking for survivors! It would be so wonderful to meet them, Doris is the second cousin to my grandfather! I hope she is well enough to meet me if I decide to go to Rockford next summer!
Yes it's the same family but I can't find them after 1940... Could you help me with that? I mean, where did they all live in 1950? All children were over 18 years old in 1950 so I don't suppose anyone of them stayed at home then. Maybe 1950 Census is not public yet so how would I know where to look for them?
Are Oscar and Ernest deceased?
Do you know the location of their death (city and state) and the date of death?
Would you like to contact 2-3 Carl Anderson's who live in Rockford, and see if they are a relative of Carl's?
Oscar died in 1989, (I'm not sure wich month) in Rockford, Illinois, according to Maudes obituary and Ernest died 13th October 1944.
I would LOVE to contact any relation to Carl! How would I do that? Since I don't know his relation to Oscar and Ernest I don't know if they were just friends or even lover to Ernest? Who knows? Ernest didn't get married...
