We're planning our wedding and she recently brought up her birth father, whom she has never met. Her whole family is large, and everyone has siblings that are best friends, but she is an only child. She has no real interest in her birth father being part of her life, or getting anything from him, she would just like to know if she has any half siblings. I would ask her mother for help, but she does not want her family to know that she's looking.

About the birth father:
His name is Jessie/Jesse and went to Hempfield High School in Lancaster, Pa some time between 1989-1993. My fiance believes that his last name could have started with a "B". He had a brief relationship with a girl named Monica in 1989. His mother also passed away before April 1990. I've heard he slightly resembled actor Cillian Murphy at the time and friends of the pair used to tease their relationship by singing "Jessie's Girl".

Any advice on how I can find out if he's still alive or anything leading to a way to contact him would be helpful. The information provided is all I have on him, and without further conversations with my fiances mother, I can't find anything else out, not even a last name.

You can try Classmates.com and look for people with that first name. Without a last name or full DOB I don't see much chance of finding him.

D you live near Lancaster? Maybe the library has old yearbooks....or maybe the school kept some. I went to high school in the same time frame and didn't know one male Jessie in a school of 1000. My guess is you can narrow it down to a handful of guys if you get your hands on a yearbook.

Your best bet might be tracking the guy via FB. He's right in my age group, and honestly, I track people down from my high school life all the time - it's pretty easy. Even with just a first name it might be doable.

I also tried with Facebook, however, my fiance mentioned that she doesn't think he has one.

That photo of course is Mr. Murphy if your intent was to post a look-a-like. Good luck on it. Try to get a copy of the actual yearbooks. Classmates is not complete at all in many cases.
