My name is Joe and I am an adoptee searching for my birth mother. I was born Joseph Simmons on Nov. 14, 1975 in Brooklyn, NY. My mother was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1958. The agency has told me she had light brown hair. My mother had quite a few brothers and sisters so I am sure there are cousins and maybe brothers and sisters to find. If anybody has any info on a female Simmons born in 1958 who could help me, I would appreciate it.

I'm confused. Your last name is Simmons and your birth mom's name is Simmons too? Were you adopted/raised by the Simmons?
Did you get your non id info from the state? What does it say?

He said he was born Joseph Simmons. Am assuming he was re-named when he was adopted.
