I have been helping my husband search for his birth parents or possible siblings. We have been on numerous adoption websites hoping to find them, so far no luck. But we were hoping that maybe someone on here could be of help.

My husband was born 3/27/68 in Buffalo, WY. Dr. Rojo was the attending doctor and possibly helped facilitate the adoption. The date could be off a day or two, Dr. Rojo was known to not always put the correct date on birth certificates especially if it's an adoption.

His adopted mom either has no info. to give or will not give any other info. other than my husband is supposed to be or is part Norwegian.

He has sandy blonde hair, which has been receeding since he was in High School, bluish green eyes, and fair skin that actually tans well.

We do not wish to disrupt his biological family's lives. He would just like to know a bit of his history and any pertnant medical info. If they wish to develop a relationship, he would be open, but is not holding his breath for one. He holds no ill will towards his birth parents and undertsands that things happen that we are not always prepared for.

He was raised in a loving secure home in Sheridan, WY and has had a good life so far.

We have three beautiful daughters together and they all have their father's eye color despite that I have strong blood lines with blue eyes. So the bluish green eye color is heriditary from his side.

If you have any info. about possible birth family we would be greatful for the info.

If you are birth family and are willing to share some info. about who he is, we would love to hear from you.

Thanks for any and all help!!!

According to Wyoming Search Resources he is entitled to non-identifying information from his adoption records. It's a start, and may include some history and medical info. Also, Wyoming allows the adoptee to petition the court for the original birth certificate.

Wow ! (posting under my husbands sign on) I too am the wife of an adoptee looking for his birth family. Our husbands are dealing with some of the same issues. My husband was born in NM in 1966, closed record state, his adoptive mother is the only person still living with information and she claims not to remember so much of what we need. I am trying to understand her side but I just think there are some things you never forget, her memory is fine in regards to everything else. My husband and I have three children as well, only ours are all boys, with their fathers dark complection and two with his brown eyes, I would love to know if they are of hispanic or native american heritage. He too desires to know his medical history for our sons and now we have a 2yo grandaughter and a 1 yo grandson. He also would be open to a relationship but would understand if his birth family opted not to have one, he does want to express his appreciation to them . Anyway I was touched by your post my prayers are with you in your search, and God bless hcgCali who is an absolute warrior for all of us !!!!!!!
