He answered when his country called in the US Army - Serving in the Korean Conflict, where he was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge along with numerous other decorations.
He is the beloved husband of Jo Canion of Stockton; loving father of 6 daughters, Georgie Leong of Stockton, Reggie Hardy of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jamie Cesar of Richmond, Stevie Wallage of Stockton, Karen Canion of Los Angeles and Jody Ente of Angels Camp and 1 son, Jeff Canion of Hilo, HI; 19 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 3 sisters. Family and Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. at Church of the Presentation, 1515 W. Benjamin Holt Drive. No visitation is planned. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Wow that is some good info. I dont know how you do it but thank you. I dont know where I got the last name perez from. I thought that was he moms last name before getting married, but I guess its Tangeauy.
Do you know why his ethnicity shows different ones for each crew list? My grandma told me he was filipino.
I dont wont to keep bothering you but could you look up my grandmas parents: Joseph Patrick "Austero" or "Resos" and Marion Bermise Hawkes. They got married and lived in seattle, washington.
Oh and would you be able to find pictures of my family...or is that too much?
