So I have saved all my receipts for 2010 on everything I purchased and wanted to put them in an expense tracker so I know where my money is going and where to cut back. However, I do not want one of those trackers where I have to give out my bank information, etc. I do pay cash alot as well so not all transactions will be via debit card. Can anyone recommend a good one??? TIA

quicken, work in entry only mode if you want it to.
Or build yourself a spreadsheet.

Try googling excel budget template or excel expense tracking template. You should pull up a bunch of options and pick a format you like.

It really IS easier if you use Quicken/mint.com and download your bank info. Its just as safe as looking up your account info online or purchasing something online. You can still input cash purchases, and it won't take you as long to get it all put in (and you don't risk missing something either).

Himain, MINT is great for what you want. They have a very secure login system, and there is no actual moving around of money - it only displays the existing transactions. You can reclassify your ATM withdrawals easily into customized categories. It's free....you should give it a shot.

The Neat Company - NeatReceipts

Scan your receipts. It'll export the info into a spreadsheet. Skip the data entry.
