That was the conclusion we reached about this poster on the Relationship forum, because one minute she was talking about not being able to find a guy and in the next post she was talking about being with a guy for a year.

I drive far more outside of going to work, so that makes perfect sense. Add a few yearly vacations, trips to the beach 4 hours away, 2 hour drives to the amusement park, meeting my ex in another state twice a week, 5 miles to my parents twice a day, 20 miles to the grocery store, 25 miles to the nearest town, where I had to go twice yesterday... makes perfect sense that I put 20k miles on a car annually.

Do you not realize that peoples lives change constantly? I have lots of experience being single and looking for relationships. I was not comfortable talking about my newest relationship here, until I knew it was stable and surviving. I was participating in generally conversations. I do not need to discuss my particular situation in general topics.

I fill up my tank twice a week, so again that fits my total mileage. Would you like a photo of my odometer? I am always running the roads. I leave the house at 6 am and it was 10 pm before I walked in last night. I went at least three different directions.

To get back on topic... What is the best long term option?

Option A- Keep current car, payment is $382 for another 2 years. It has almost 60k miles, will be out of the extended warranty and already having big ticket repairs. Can trade it in for $23k.(I do love this car)

Option B - Trade current car in on brand new model. I think the payment was $540 per month, balance was $34k.

Option C- Sell current car for $20-$23k and lease new car for around $450 per month.

Keep the current car since you're going to continue to trash it anyway.

My hang up is it is still worth $20-$23k now, and it is potentially going to start costing lots of money in repairs. Two more years it will be worth nothing and will have 100k miles.

Where are you getting quotes on a lease for 450.00 a month for a 20k mile annual allowance and what vehicle are you getting the quotes on?

2017 Dodge Durango. I went to the dealer this week to discuss options. Ordered a new one for purchase, then cancelled it, and two days later the current one broke down.

Their online calculator for a citadel Durango with no added options and 15k miles a year in a 36 month lease comes out to 657.00 including 2750 cash back and excluding tt&l and they don't have an option there for 20k miles leases so did you really quote this out?
