What are your biggest pain points with personal finance? What problems do you have that you wish someone would solve?

Some of mine are:
- Splitting recurring expenses with roommates (e.g. rent, utilities, internet, etc.)
- Figuring out how to invest my money and how much to save
- Figuring out what to put into retirement savings (e.g. 401k)
- Setting up a budget and adhering to it

Mine are actually:

--Wishing I had a higher income, but not wanting to to the work to get it.

--Knowing I could spend a bit more without it really hurting my financial outlook, but me having trouble--psychologically speaking--with a lower savings rate.

I am single, so all pains would be self inflicted. But I am actually very savvy, and good with my personal budget - so no problems...

Paying interest or late fees.

Even at 3.5%, I hate seeing how much interest I pay on my mortgage. My Ex used to get late fees all the time so I despise them on principle. Luckily I'm in control on the payment.

I've heard a rule of thumb...if you expect that investing your money will return at a rate 2% higher than your mortgage, then it's best to put any extra money toward investment, vs. paying the mortgage faster. 3.5% isn't bad.

Why is this a pain point, financially speaking?

Having to make up the difference of one of them doesn't have the money, I would guess.
