If you don't currently belong to the Subaru Forester forum I suggest you join. Lots of discussions on seat comfort and how to improve the seats ... Including changing the seats, (you can change the seats to WRX seats which are much more comfortable. The seats in the Outback are okay, definitely better than the Forester , but not great if you're tall & long legged.

Honestly, I'd be very careful. Any premature car decision making can set you back many thousands of dollars. A Forrester is a nice vehicle.

We had a Forrester for about 2 years. I was never really comfortable with the driver side seat. We traded in the Forrester for an Outback last year. I really love the Outback seats with custom fit adjustable by pressing a switch, or just putting my hand on the door handle. It recognizes my hand print and adjusts the seat automatically, also for my wife. I'm really happy with this vehicle. I also love the variable cruise control.

I had to drive an hour to do PT in the town wall Mart is in.
I live in BFE. Actually BFE is BETWEEN me and town!
(And I wouldn't have it any other way)

...someone without an injury has NO IDEA how much pain that hour would be.

If it's stupid but works it isn't stupid.

I also have boxes of nuts, bolts, PVC, and even a 5 gal bucket full of PEX.
That's the kind of thing that you do when it's 40 min to the nearest gal of milk.
