It is not closed, technically. I know I should call customer service for the question, but the call waiting time is estimated more than 30 minutes, so I decide to call on another day and post the question here at the meanwhile.

Here is the case: I used the credit the place first online order(oversea website), and the transaction went through. A few minutes later, I placed the second order, the BOA mistakenly considered it as fraud, and it did not go through. BOA sent me an email and asked me to verify the transaction, I changed my mind and identified second order as "fraud", since I did not want the order any more.

Then BOA sent me a new credit card (with new credit card number), I did not know it until I receive the card today. Before today, I also cancelled my first order before being shipped, and the first order refund was issued to my credit card number (which is not valid number now).

Can the invalid credit card number accept refund?

Thanks.

It should go to your account not to your card.

Yes, a refund can be processed if the card number has been cancelled but the account remains active.

I agree with the others; answer is yes. I just had this occur not too long ago.
