I work a lot of overtime, 56 hous a week and more, taxes are going up,so why should I work all that over time just to have it go to the goverment, My house is payed off, my overhead is low. anybody thinking about doing the same.

I used to work those hours (in management, you work that much and don't get overtime). I figured if I was going to be working that much, I might as well start my own business. I did, was actually able to cut my hours in less than a year, and used the advantages that a corporation has to cut the amount of money I was shipping off to Washington. It isn't for everyone, but for people that have the drive to work 50+ hours per week anyway, it can make sense.

100% of the money you make in overtime doesn't go to the Government.

If you don't need the $$ I'd be cutting back too, I have 19 days off this month.
