For our puppy it's classical music. More specifically Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (the theme from "Somewhere in Time"). Every time we play that piece on our iPod she immediately lays down near the player and goes to sleep. It doesn't matter if we're at home or in the car. It's like she has been put into a trance.

We have a toy that we got for my daughter when she was learning how to walk. It has wheels and a handle that you push like a shopping cart or a stroller. When it gets bumped, it plays a 5 second melody. My daughter is 5 years old now, but we keep the toy on our deck because our Lab/Heeler mix, Jackie, loves to bump it with her paws to hear it play the music. It's hilarious.

My dog loves to hear the Blues Clues song...lol...and every time Blue barks and then I mock Blue, Tazz decides he needs to chime in. Its hilarious! I love my doggie!!

our Zeb likes us to sing.... He adores Happy Birthday, cause we sing it for him at all his b-days.

And my hubby made a song up called Zeb dog the mighty. Which goes like this:

Zeb dog the mighty
never ever gets a flea
always gets his food for free
He's Zeb dog!
Zeb dog the mighty....

yeah hubby used to watch too much Zena the warrior princess, hee hee
