Fire kills 18 pups after dog-law visit

By STEVE SNYDER
Staff Writer
Lebanon Daily News

A fire in a Bethel Township kennel killed 18 dogs last night, hours after
officials had visited the property to investigate a complaint.
Carl Johnson, investigator for the Lebanon County Humane Society, said he,
state dog warden Diane Buhl and Bethel Township zoning-enforcement officer
Brenda Marinkov had visited the property at 104 Maple Drive yesterday morning
after receiving “an allegation of a puppy mill.”

So sad. Stories like this are the reason I get along better with animals than with people.
