A fire in a Bethel Township kennel killed 18 dogs last night, hours after
officials had visited the property to investigate a complaint.
Carl Johnson, investigator for the Lebanon County Humane Society, said he,
state dog warden Diane Buhl and Bethel Township zoning-enforcement officer
Brenda Marinkov had visited the property at 104 Maple Drive yesterday morning
after receiving “an allegation of a puppy mill.â€
