Its feet are so huge it looks like it is wearing tennis shoes. It might be a rabbit called the Continental Giant.

give its in the u, its very likley a continental giant (they get bigger than the flemmish giants, but the flemmish are huge too)

and NO they dont get that big in the wild, theyve been selectivly bred for thousands of years for that specific trait...
they are huge (make terible meat rabbits though as they grow slow and have too much bone not enough meat), they were origiaonlly bred primarily for their fur, but are ow VERY popular as pets because they have puppy dog like personalities (and are the sie of a dog too! lol)

Have any of you ever seen jackrabbits? Those are huge and can startle you when they hop out of sagebrush.

I wonder what kind of pets these rabbits make? It would sure hurt if they ever bit you. They must eat a ton of veggies.

He's a beautiful bunny. What bothers me about that video is we never see the rabbit upright. Can s/he hold herself up? Can s/he hop?

they are actually very agile rabbits, they generlaly dont tend to move as fast as their smaller bunny cousins, but its not because they cant its because like giant breed dogs, most are bred to be pretty sedate most of the time lol. they are generally very mellow, super sweet and make incredible kids pets because again bigger bunies can take alot more kid time than their smaller counterparts and tend to be gnerally calmer.

continental and flemmish tend to be the most mellow, followed by english lops, standard rex and french lops...
odly enough ive never met a rabit that bites.. their claws are thier first line of defence and those bug back feet can cause ALOT of dammage with aor sharp claws on legs designed to haul a 30-40lb rabbit around the place (those leggs are INCRDIBLY strong)

i dont know WHY but when you cradle a bunnylike thet they generall go realy calm and relaxed...my buns love thier tummies rubbed and will sit like this for hours.

(the bunny is having a hard time on the slippy floor, hes a flemmish, they tend to be slightly smaller than continentals)
