Does anyone ever buy a Head Stone for their Friend I'm thinking of buying one for my Little Buddy I lost the other day?

I know a Guy that makes them just for Pets.

there are some nice ones on different websites, but i would think the cost of shipping is really high; as the markers are usually concrete or some kind of metal like bronze... quite heavy! Maybe if someone near you makes them (as you posted) you could check him out, see his work

You could also opt for something other than an engraved marker. Places that sell lawn ornaments/fountains sometimes have really pretty animal statues.... i've seen some shaped as sleeping cats, dogs, lambs, angels, deer. They're quite attractive!

I have never purchased an actual marker, but for a departed pet i use a small round stepping stone to mark the grave, and place a small solar-light next to it.

had my dogs cremated. Tey're in boxes on a shelf in my bedroom. I move around so much; don't want to leave them behind.

I've seen some really nice markers for pets. There's a pet cemetery a few miles from me. But like bruchrunner said, buy local!

It sounds like a wonderful way to honor your friend. I am so sorry for your loss.
