He's developed a hunched back since yesterday after I cleaned his cage the day before, I did a bleach clean because there was a ton of mold mites. And I think I over stressed him. He's more relaxed today but yesterday he was trying to jump out of the plastic box (it's huge), he ran on his wheel almost all night last night and the night before so he's active, and he didn't sleep during the day I think. But I'm worried. He was walking on his back legs and I thought I heard his teeth chattering. But he has a hunched back, like a bump and he hasn't POOPED since. His cage has no poop and he's eaten some bread and I left him water. But i don't know. I also sprayed him with tick and flea spray and I think maybe he got cold because he didn't dry well and our heater wasn't working last night for some reason and my room was cold. His eyes were also winced a bit.

I know, I suck at being an owner! >.< Well was going to release him soon since I caught him back in December but if he's sick, I might keep him longer. It could also be old age I honestly don't know, when I caught him in the sticky trap he was small but he's still small so I assume he's a dwarf mouse due to undernourishment. I honestly don't know, is there anything I can do. I left him with a lot of bedding and 3 socks.

That is a lot like our pet rat Eleanor looked the day or two before she died - apparently of old age (2 1/2 years). They don't live very long.

I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know what's wrong. I think his hunchback is a tumor. He still wants to play but is too weak
I'm so sad I'm crying, because I got so attached to him. I feel helpless and kind of wish his suffering would end :'( I can't bear to see him like this. I miss his gleaming eyes, his energy, all faded away before me.
