Im sure others have bunnies! We just got our first bun about 2 weeks ago. A mini lop named Sammie. A woman had him and a female but Sam was left to the weeds and she asked if i wanted him! We built a hutch from an old baby crib and he seems happy and content. Last night he did his FIRST Binky!!!

He's a cutie! Looks very much like a bunny I had many years ago.

I've had rabbits for years throughout my life (off and on) but can't now as I don't have room. My last two were a mixed-breed agouti, and a goofy English lop.

Gosh, I miss them.

Enjoy your bunny!

OMG so cute!\\

Like assetluv I have had rabbits in the past but don'y have them now. In part because I have since gotten married and my husband isn't a fan and in oart because I have a dog now. It looks like he has the chance to run around the house and that us the BEST. My rabbits had run of the house which made them much more interactive, I thought they were great pets. Enjoy your cutie!

We have him in his crate until around dinner time, then we let him out until we go to bed- so about 5hours or so. He has range of the whole living room.

Rabbits are underrated pets! Quiet, clean, cuddly, easy to care for. I had several of them over the years, one of whom was a real sweetie, and smart.

Please check out The House Rabbit Society. They are a fantastic resource on keeping rabbits as pets. Their book, or maybe it is only the first book now, is a hoot!

I had a Dutch bunny as a child. Loved her, she was so friendly and sweet.

Luna was adopted about 3 months ago. She was found by a park ranger and dropped off at the shelter.

I have cats, dogs, a skink and a hamster... I would say even since my childhood bunny, and Luna confirms this, bunnies are great pets. Dare I say, better than dogs and an par with my love for cats. Bunnies have a loyalty like a dog to their bonded owners, but independent like a cat. Affectionate under their terms but always amusing to watch. They eat a lot and poop a lot, but smart enough to be littertrained which helps tons with cleaning.

I wish more people would adopt rather than buy one from the pet stores. Most people are still not aware you can find them in rescues.

The Netherland Dwarfs I had must have been the breed that caused the name Ricochet Rabbit to be coined.

BingbingBING! Oh, the fun each night when it was time for him to go back into the cage. Eventually he learned to hop in there when I followed him and pointed to the cage. Silly wabbit.

Let's see if this works.

Here's a picture of my last two rabbits, Anna and Yofi. Yofi came from a breeder (I'd always wanted an English lop) and Anna was adopted from our local humane society. They were best of buds for over six years, and when Anna developed an aggressive tumour and died, Yofi "followed her into the dark" just two weeks later.

(Sorry for the thumbnail, but apparently Photobucket won't allow me to share pics any more. I've got to find a new host.)
