YouTube - SEPTA Silverliner V Test Train June 24 2010

I kept forgetting to post this video. Oh well this has been a great month for New Train fleets here in the Northeast. The New M8's (top speed 100mph) rolled out for testing in CT , NJT rolled out there ALP 46A top speed 125mph. & Now SEPTA is testing there new stuff. Although with NJT and MTA have a better and faster replacement record then SEPTA. But I really hope that septa can keep there promise on these new train deliverers. & I hope they replace the rest of the Regional Rail fleet. Along with there ugly Trams and Board Street line trains.

When are these getting into action? I've been riding the R5 every day hoping to finally see them.

No matter how fast they are able to move .. the track condition and prevailing traffic will determine how fast a train will move.
Having said that .. a clean and comfortable train my be a plus
