Greetings, All,

I just got a new job starting on Monday in Center City, Philly. I live in Englishtown/Manalapan, NJ and I'm trying to work out the most cost effective commute to my new job. I'm beginning to think that there isn't one because all the options I've looked at so far, driving to Princeton Junction or Trenton and training in, or driving directly to work are horrendously expensive, between $700 to $1100 a month when I include gas usage. I can't afford that!

I can't seem to find a bus line that does commuter runs into Philly except for one NJ Transit run from Trenton that takes over 2 hours; that's not a viable option.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a better, more cost effective commute into Center City from Central NJ?
Does anyone know of an alternate bus company that does commuter runs into Philly?

If you do, please reply. I can really use the help!

Thank you!

~GML

drive to the Woodcrest PATCO station off of 295 and take the train into Center City, plus you can connect to the SEPTA Market-Frankford subway line at 8th St if you need to go further west or stay on PATCO which has 3 more City stops.
