Any do's and don'ts? We have 3 kids and have been swayed by friends rave reviews of Wayne. Areas to avoid? Our budget is $1500-$2500, somewhere in there hopefully. Looking to move over the summer. I'm fairly optimistic because I've seen some nice houses for T/E school district hit Craigslist that I'd be fine living in within that price range. One of the big selling points was having a nice downtown area that is within walking distance of suburban, residential housing.

I can't help with finding places to rent, but you should be aware if you aren't already that downtown Wayne is in Radnor school district. Part of the Wayne zip code is in the school district as are the "downtown" parts of Berwyn, Devon and most of Paoli are in T-E school district, though I think most people would agree that these downtowns aren't quite as nice as Wayne (I mean as quaint and walkable with as many options like a movie theater and restaurant - all these towns are very safe). Both are excellent school districts.
