Great ... We have a mayor who encourages breaking the law:

Philly cops leave undocumented woman, kids in street, take car

And I love how the media says 'undocumented woman' instead of illegal alien and makes it sound like the police did something wrong.

Breaking the law was leaving the Mother and Children on the street after impounding their car.

"The woman's car was impounded under the city's "Live Stop" program, which states that "under no circumstances shall the occupants of any vehicle impounded be abandoned on any city street or highway."

Illegal immigration is a problem-but go after the major employers if you want things to change.

Although I am a supporter of giving the undocumented or illegal population (what ever you want to call them) a chance to earn legal status I do have a problem with those driving without a license or insurance. That includes legal immigrants and US citizens.

In this case I would be curious to know why the officer stopped the driver in the first place since the reason has not been disclosed. As far as Kenny and his views on illegal immigration, are no different then Mayor Nutter or most other big city mayors, including former NYC Mayor known as "Americans Mayor" Rudy Giuliani.

He won the mayoral election with something like 80% of the vote.

I feel your pain.
