Hi, we are relocating to Philly area in a few weeks. I will be working in Wilmington DE. As an Asian, I prefer to buy a house in a somewhat diversified neighborhood with great school district and reasonable commute to work. Now I am checking these two school districts, garnet valley and unionville chadds ford. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Unionville/Chadds Ford is usually ranked higher in state school rankings. U/CF demographics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unionv...chool_District

At Garnet Valley H.S. last fall, 8 NMS semi-finalists; U/CF H.S. had 15. https://chaddsfordlive.com/2016/09/1...sts-announced/

Interesting to see the variety in the names of the outstanding scholars.

Can't go wrong with either. I would think Garnet Valley is slightly more diverse, and slightly easier to get to Wilmington.

There is also West Chester.
