I've been looking online to compare the three elementary schools in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District. One site (PSK-12) rates the Hillendale School as the best, while another (Schooldigger) indicates it is not as good as Chadds Ford Elementary or Pocopson. The PSK-12 data are older than the Schooldigger data. Is something going on at Hillendale that is causing it to decline in rankings? I am trying to decide where to buy a home and quality of elementary school is a big consideration.
If anyone can comment on the elementary schools in the UCF district, I'd be most grateful.

When looking at school district's I find it better to pay attention to the Middle and High School rankings, especially HS. You're going to find little difference in elementary schools in an area, and what difference there is, will generally not matter to your child or their school experience. If you want to go only by the numbers the two most trust worthy sites (IMHO) are SchoolDigger.com - School Rankings, Reviews and More - Public and Private Elementary, Middle, High Schools and SchoolMatters (http://www.schoolmatters.com/ - broken link) Great Schools is sort of a gossip site as far as I'm concerned where people can say whatever they like and just a few people can make the difference between a school being considered bad or good.

The very best determinant of an elementary school is your child's and your family's personal fit. Go visit and see what you think.
