Hello,

I'm thinking of moving into this neighborhood. Most people tell me that this neighborhood is changing rapidly for the better. I walked around the neighborhood a couple of days ago and had mixed feelings. I felt most areas north of Fitzwater st was ok. South of Fitzwater was a little sketchy. There were a people hanging out on the streets and I didn't feel it would be safe to walk around at night.

Does anyone here live in that neighborhood? How long have you been there and what changes have you experienced? Do you regret moving there? Please share with me your experiences. What does the future hold for Graduate Hospital?

Thanks in advance.

Check out www.phillyblog.com (http://www.phillyblog.com - broken link)

Go to their forums and I believe there is a Southwest Center City forum to give you more neighborhood input. While I don't live there, this is a nice neighborhood with a block to block variation much like the rest of the city. Even some of the sketchier parts of this neighborhood are still pretty decent. Even those areas north of Fitzwater you want to exercise the same common sense caution at night.

There are a few drug spots and at the same time it seems like every abandoned house is being renovated right now.
