Sincere question to Eagles fans, do you think your fans are the most indimidating in the NFL. I've heard people in Philadelphia are scared to go to their own games because their own fans are a little thug-like. How true is that? I've heard Eagles fans are scarier than Raiders fans. One Eagle fan told me he poured a beer on his own fan becuse he wore the wrong colors to the game and didn't wear enough green.

Eagle fans have a reputation... but having seen the Raider and Browns fans in action... no, the Eagle fans aren't the most intimidating.

And frankly, I think you should be glad they aren't.

I'm an Eagles fan, and I intend to kick your butt for asking the question!!!

Eagles fans as a whole are intense, but the percentage of Eagles fans who actually make you feel like you are in physical danger if you wear opposing team colors is pretty small. Many Eagles fans will get on your case and some will be verbally intimidating if you root for the opposing team.

Things have been toned down some since the Eagles moved from Veterans Stadium to Lincoln Financial Field.

yes

and i grew up in ny/ct with a family of giants fans -we always talked about eagles fans at the vet. that was legendary

the linc is softer, but still hardcore...

what i love about iggles fans is that they don't need costumes like the redskins or raiders.....they just live it!

I was going to ask you about that. I saw a game at Veterans stadium with a friend who was an Eagles fan. I wore green don't worry. And we were in the upper deck and we saw this fight break out and the Eagles fan pummeled this Giants fan. Apparently both were held in some jail cell at the stadium. Yeah, they had a holding cell for rowdy fans at the stadium. LOL I wanted to know if the behavior changed since the move to the new stadium

As an Eagles fan I have been to Cleveland and the Brown's fans were in no way intimidating. I have never been to Oakland so I can not speak on them but I have been in worse situations in other stadiums than Cleveland. In Philly it is the luck of the draw for opposing fans. Your seats could be around same people that will ride you the whole game and go back and forth or you can get the seat next to the drunk guy who will eventually try to take a shot at you. But I think that is in every other stadium as well. Philly just gets more publicity. Just look at when the Cub's fan throw the beer at Victorino. Five minutes later ESPN was saying how great the fans are in Chicago. If that would have happened in Philly than it would have been how horrible we are and we don't have any respect.

Ungrateful?... I'd say they are demanding, but not ungrateful. The Eagles have never won a super bowl and we still pack the Linc every week the Eagles are at home. Plus there is a very large season ticket waiting list.

They don't appreciate a Hall of Fame QB like Mcnabb

a lot of eagles fans are ungrateful but I suspect that comes with a big market. I think they are probably a little more rough than, say, buffalo but not any other big market (or even the Steelers)
