I found a large wallet in Home Depot recently. I saw the guy put it down as he was wearing shorts with no pockets and was looking for a specific nut/bolt combo. I walked down the aisle and noticed his wallet on the shelf on the way back (guy was gone). So I grab the wallet and hand it to a Home Depot employee working the other end of the aisle. Employee puts it in his apron and heads to the back of the store (not good). I immediately grabbed a manager at the front of the store and explained his employee (description/aisle given) took the wallet to the back of the store (obviously not protocol). I explained the customer is probably still in the store (can't buy anything without your wallet!). Manager paged the employee on the intercom and I left......no idea if that guy got his overstuffed wallet back!
