Not totally West Valley, but we take our animals to the Village Animal Clinic on 35th Ave/Thunderbird. We live near 40th St/Cactus, so it's a bit of a trek, but is absolutely worth it. Can't say enough good things about the staff there. Also, any services have come in at a fraction of the cost of the place we used to go to.

Matt- It probably would have been helpful to know what your definition of West Valley is. I have seen it defined as anything west of I-17. Sometimes it means Buckeye, rarely does it mean Sun City. In any case, good luck with your search.

We have had a sad development with our Mastiff over the last 24 hours and she is not doing very well. We could not get her in to see her regular vet in Sun City, because he was too busy with other emergencies. We found a wonderful mobil veterinarian, Dr. Daniel Martin, 623-979-8000 who spent most of the morning with us. His fees are very, very reasonable and he is awsome with his diagnostic skills. We bought her a little time and hope that we can avoid the painful path of putting her down, but if it comes to that, he will come back and assist. He also has a place that will ethically take care of the remains and you get the ashes delivered back to you. Again the fee is way too reasonable and I would highly recommend him even for basic check ups and shots.
