It's interesting how many here are so negative about the OP's agent without knowing his side of the story. From what little "facts" given, it seems the agent has been realistic, provides advice, comps, and tries to coach the OP as to conflicts between their wants and what is available. Instead, the OP wants someone "imaginative" and who will not try to offer advice that may be in conflict with the OP's desires. Perhaps the agents biggest fault is not being in tune with these desires and realizing they are not compatible. In any case, I do agree that an agent and their client should work well together to be effective. Appears not to be the case in this situation.
