It's definitely turning around. I think this year will be turning point for real estate, jobs, all of it...

That may be the wind in our sails that we need to start turning the housing market. If this continues I suspect the "investors" sitting on the fence will start buying. I sure hope this continues.

Jobs yes, real estate no. It's still going to be a heavy rental market

This is what happens when the Federal Reserve prints tons of money to keep the economy going. It creates jobs but has one ugly side effect which is inflation. QE2 will end next month. The cheap money will end, economy will tank, and unemployment will go up this summer. Don't worry, they will step back in and start quantitative easing again. The economy will rapidly turn around and start to boom again. Ah yes, gas will be $5 a gallon but that is a small price to pay for it, no?

Nice; what jobs besides construction have been created? The only jobs i ever see available are Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks and pizza shops. It's ridiculous. I'm working a BS degree in health education and have yet to see an opening in that field anywhere. I'm doomed.

The real estate market on the other hand, I'd like to see that GO BACK UP. It's certainly dropped a slight more since February; and I'd like to see an opening to sell our house after a 10% market increase so we can get some profit and leave.

Don't expect that 10% increase in the near future. Average price per square foot for Phoenix AZ was $79, a decrease of 44% compared to the same period last year and has been dropping monthly.

Honestly a bachelors degree in biology/health sciences/pre-med is purgatory these days. You either have to pursue a more advanced graduate degree or go lower and get a trade/tech degree like medical assistant, ultrasound tech, radiology tech, or surgical tech. It is unfortunate. I remember back in the day, your degree could get you a pretty good job.
